At miJamii™, we take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and your rights in relation to it. It applies to all users of the miJamii™ platform, including subscribers, curators, partners, and community members.

miJamii™ is a B2B community platform operated by SBH Solutions GmbH ("we", "us", "our"). We provide tools that enable businesses to build, manage and activate local communities through real-world experiences and measurable commerce.

2. What Data We Collect

We collect and process the following categories of personal data:

Account & Registration Data Name, email address, phone number, company name, business type, and city — collected when you register as a subscriber, curator, partner, or community member.

Event RSVP Data First name, last name, email address, phone number, and consent preferences — collected when you RSVP to a miJamii™-powered event.

Usage & Technical Data IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and session duration — collected automatically when you use our platform.

Payment Data Billing information is processed directly by Stripe. We do not store full card details on our servers.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your personal data for the following purposes:

- Service delivery — to create and manage your account, process RSVPs, and issue personalised QR invitations - Community management — to connect you with the communities and events you have joined - Communications — to send transactional messages related to your account or events you have registered for (with your consent where required) - Platform improvement — to analyse usage patterns and improve our features - Legal compliance — to meet our obligations under applicable Swiss and EU data protection law

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

4. Legal Basis for Processing

We process your personal data on the following legal bases under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nFADP) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):

- Contract performance — processing necessary to deliver the services you have requested - Legitimate interests — improving our platform and preventing fraud - Consent — where you have explicitly opted in to marketing communications or non-essential data processing - Legal obligation — where we are required to process data to comply with applicable law

5. Data Sharing

We share your data only in the following circumstances:

- Service providers — trusted third-party processors (including Stripe for payments, and our hosting infrastructure) who are contractually bound to protect your data - Community operators — subscriber businesses on the miJamii™ platform may access member data for the communities they operate, subject to their own privacy obligations - Legal requirements — where disclosure is required by law, court order, or regulatory authority - Business transfers — in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred subject to equivalent protections

We do not transfer your data outside Switzerland or the EEA without appropriate safeguards in place.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by law.

- Account data — retained for the duration of your account and for up to 3 years after closure - RSVP and event data — retained for up to 2 years after the event date - Payment records — retained for 10 years in accordance with Swiss commercial law - Marketing consent records — retained until you withdraw consent

You may request deletion of your data at any time (see Section 8).

7. Cookies & Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate and improve our platform. These include:

- Essential cookies — required for authentication, session management, and security (including our development access gate) - Analytics cookies — used to understand how visitors interact with our platform (only with your consent)

You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies may affect platform functionality.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

- Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you - Rectification — request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data - Erasure — request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten") - Restriction — request that we limit how we process your data - Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format - Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interests - Withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time

9. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or disclosure. These include encrypted data transmission (TLS), access controls, and regular security reviews.

No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify registered users by email or by displaying a prominent notice on our platform. The date of the most recent revision is shown at the top of this page.

Continued use of the miJamii™ platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
